Monette, AR · Northeast Arkansas Our clearing runs on a skid steer with three attachments. A drum mulcher grinds brush, saplings and small trees into mulch. A brush cutter mows tall grass, weeds and briars. A grapple picks up what has to come off the property.
Most of what comes down stays on the ground as mulch. That work is forestry mulching, and it is how we clear the bulk of a property. The mulch layer covers bare dirt, which matters on Crowley's Ridge, where soil washes fast once the cover is gone. On flat Delta ground it helps keep a fresh cleared lot from rutting.
Every job starts with a free estimate. We come out, look the property over, then put the work and the price in writing. We are based in Monette and work about 50 miles around Jonesboro. Once the brush is gone, the same skid steer handles grading and dirt work.
Meet Craig Land ManagementA skid steer runs all three. The drum mulcher takes brush and small trees. The brush cutter takes tall grass and briars. The grapple loads what has to leave the property.
Brush and small trees are ground up where they stand and left as a mulch layer over the dirt. That covers the ground and saves hauling. What is too big for the mulcher goes out on the dump trailer.
